I slacked off a bit when it came up updating you all on a few events I participated in. These are all past now, but i figured I should post them anyway:
In May I started working with the Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts (PPLM) to co-facilitate their SECS Sexuality Education Certification Series which is held a couple times per year. I’m excited for this opportunity to gain more experience in the field of sexual health education.
On May 31st and June 1st I participated in MVP’s excellent “Bystander Intervention: from its roots to the road ahead” conference. I was one of the panelists in the conference’s first plenary panel where we discussed men and women working together in this field. If you were able to attend I’d love to hear you feedback!
On June 15th I participated in the Ivy Plus sexual assault prevention meeting in NYC. The meeting consisted of sexual assault prevention and response folks who work at Ivy League (plus other schools) coming together to network and discuss their work.
I’ve had plenty of other things going on since my last update, but those are the highlights.
